The Wizard World Comic Con is all about the fans, an event that originated with the San Diego Comic Con and now travels nationwide and around the world to bring the stars to fans. This weekend, the three-day celebrity event is in Minneapolis, where the likes Gillian Anderson, among others, sign autographs and snap photos with generations of faithful admirers. X Files News made Twitter coverage from her panel.
- On Scully and The X-Files
Chris asked Gillian sometime last year when she was in LA if she wanted to do revival. "No" then "maybe" and she can't wait to be red again.
When asked about William, she has not had the conversation with Chris yet, but she thinks he must be involved.
She thinks she should binge-watch the series again before filming.
Moderator said in terms of MotW characters coming back, he'd like to see the guys from "Home". Gillian joked that she'd prefer not to.
What is your favorite aspect of Scully's character? "Not her skepticism... she was compassionate and forgiving and treated everyone the same.
When asked about Scully's religious beliefs and how they developed over the years: "Chris needs to answer that. I don't know, sorry!"
- On her current and upcoming projects
Gillian appreciates "short stacks" when it comes to TV shows; shorter seasons, less stressful. "I am intrigued and interested in seeing strong and unique female
characters. I feel like I haven't seen Stella or Bedelia before." Gillian says that there's a very good chance Streetcar will come to NYC next spring. What asked what it's like working with Mads from Hannibal: "it's a lot
of fun... really sweet guy." She thinks there's more in next season.

When asked about being named one of the most beautiful people in the
world, "who gives a f**k; there are beautiful people everywhere". When asked what one thing she'd change in the world: "there's a lot of
hate and disagreement about race and sex ect; I'd remove that concept".
