Duchovny has recently gave couple of interviews for British press, regarding to new X Files season in this country. Also, he talked about his favorite music. Speaking of public appearances, the most recent was on The Ellen Show.
David Duchovny has returned to UK screens as one half of power-dressing FBI special agent couple Mulder and Scully - but he admits those sharp suits made him think twice about the reboot.
"I always wanted to be engaged, creative and imaginative - and not have
to go into an office every day. That was the life I wanted. I didn't
want to wear a suit and tie, which is the f*****-up thing about having
to play Mulder again."
He admitted he had also "really screwed myself" with new Charles Manson
crime drama Aquarius, in which he spends his time in - you guessed it - a

Speaking of the subject of Anderson’s recent revelation that she was offered less than he was to do the new series, Duchovny said: “I’ve done everything I can to help that whenever I could. I think we should be paid the same to do The X-Files. You can ask Gillian. She knows that I have always wanted us to be paid the same, for as long as I’ve known there was a discrepancy. Hollywood payment is not fair, and it doesn’t always parcel on gender lines or race lines, or anything like that.” Read more: The Guardian
It this news review for Sunday Times the journalist stated that it is hard to explain the appeal of The X-Files to someone who is not
an X-phile, with notice that it always
seemed that Duchovny was one of those who didn’t get it. He was
sceptical when he first read the scripts: “I had very little interest in
that type of show and that type of subject matter,” he says. When asked if he struggles to feign enthusiasm in
front of die-hard fans, he says: “I’m constitutionally unable to feign

X Files star is ready to go for an eleventh season. “I would love to,” Duchovny says about the possibility of making more episodes. “I think we all would,” he said to Ellen. Speaking of chemistry with Gillian, David said this time was like "being in a family": “Of all the things that have changed, and the work
that’s come in between, when we were together doing the show this time
around, it just felt like the old show.”
