FoxNext Games officially released their new mobile narrative game Storyscape, in the world of The X-Files.

Storyscape app is described as a place where world-class writers bring immersive tales of romance, intrigue and adventure, and every decision players make transforms the story. Storyscape, with its six different shows, delivers high-quality interactive storytelling from some of the most creative minds in the world, combined with the technology to bring those stories to the widest possible audience of diverse fans.

In terms of The X-Files game, FBI Assistant Director Skinner has brought in two brilliant new recruits to take on the cases that defy common sense under the tutelage of the experienced Mulder and Scully. Players will guide these agents through dangerous conspiracies, unnatural horrors, terrifying enemies both new and old, and—the greatest challenge of all—working together, to solve The X-Files.

Throughout the story, certain choices will unlock clues, which provide insight into a season-long mystery. Collecting enough of them will allow players to access a unique ending and bring them closer to the truth behind the conspiracy.

The game is written by Marvel's comic book writer, Sean Kelley McKeever.

The writer confirmed that Episode 11 is the final episode of the season. However, this won't be the end: the game has been renewed for its second season.
