[Scan] Gillian Anderson talks her winning role (Glamour UK, July 2015)

As Blanche DuBois (the role made famous by Vivien Leigh in the 1951 film), Gillian gave a searing performance of a woman falling apart before your very eyes, over three gruelling hours of raw emotion. Rather than struggling to shake Blanche off night after night, Gillian found the process liberating. “I fell so much in love with her that after every performance, I felt quite exhilarated,” she says.
