“It’s nice to be back in Vancouver,” where the original series filmed
its first five seasons, Anderson told TV Insider. “The weather is beautiful
right now in Vancouver, so it makes those 17-hour days not bite so
much.”
Anderson has a packed plate these days, juggling NBC’s Hannibal, the upcoming BBC miniseries War and Peace (airing in the U.S. on A&E, Lifetime and History) and the third season of BBC’s The Fall (which streams here on Netflix) in addition to The X-Files. “I
don’t have a great deal of time, so the only way that we could really
do it was if we did it in a really short stack,” Anderson says of X-Files. “Yes it’s a reunion but there aren’t many of them.”
