Gillian promoted her new book "We: A Manifesto for Women Everywhere," by giving a lot of interviews, with TV and panel appearances, and book signings. These are some of the highlights with her quotes, pictures, scans, videos and a list of her recent interviews.

Talking about her role in "Viceroy's House," she explained she had been scared of forgetting her lines, which is connected with her fears of having dyslexia.

"I took notes, blah, blah, blah, but couldn’t remember a thing he [private tutor] taught me. Nothing. I’m not even sure, if you’d asked me the next day, I could have told you what I’d learned."

If asked about her favorite books she "couldn’t tell you what they were about," and that was a part of her memory struggle.

"I’d always been afraid to look into it [fears of dyslexia], because I was afraid that if I found something out, I would think that I couldn’t do anything that I wanted to do."

And now with a book written with close friend and journalist Jennifer Nadel, she described how she wished there had been something similar to help her bad mental condition.

"There were times when it was really bad," she explained, drawing on her own experience of low self-esteem. "There have been times in my life where I haven’t wanted to leave the house."

Also, she tries to she tries to concentrate on remembering good things, with a help of meditation process.

"All I know is that when I meditate, one goes beyond the physical, and it is possible to tap into a sense of absolute contentment and joy in that place."

As for "The X-Files," Gillian said the show isn't gone forever. "Probably not," she simply replied.
