She made her name playing Scully in cult sc-fi drama The X Files.
But, twenty years on, and actress Gillian Anderson is still turning heads with ease - as she proved in central London on Monday morning.
The 46 year-old star cut a stylish, youthful figure as she left the BBC's Broadcasting House following a promotional appearance on Radio 2.
Keeping
it simple, the acclaimed actress opted for a colourless ensemble which
consisted of fitted trousers, black suede boots and a chunky-knit
roll-neck. She
capped the look with a sexy leather jacket which no doubt harked back
to her punk days in the eighties. She even wore a jet-black handbag and
sported a marching case for her smart phone. In
fact, going make-up-free for the outing, the only flash of colour was
her peroxide blonde hair, which offered some serious contrast.
