David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are set to reprise their roles as Mulder and Scully in The X Files for a 6 episode run which will begin filming this summer.
While fans have voiced their delighted that the sci-fi duo are back
together, Duchovny has warned that the show's creators are not just
going to pick the show back up from where it ended.
Speaking to WENN Duchovny said: "I'm happy to be going back... It
will be interesting to see what we got. It will be interesting to see
who we are now and what stories we have to tell. I don't know anything
more about it than that. Just that I'm excited to work with Gillian and
(creator) Chris (Carter) again. That'll be fun.
"It's important that he's (Mulder) not the same guy. He's 22 years
older than when we first met him... That said, he won't have a French
accent all of a sudden!"
