When series star Gillian Anderson stopped by The Late Late Show With James Corden on Thursday, the host took the opportunity to demonstrate the power of its iconic theme music to “basically make anything sinister and spooky.”
“We’re just going to Barbados on vacation. It’s going to be great,”
Corden announced before triggering the theme song — which wasn’t really
that far off from how actual X-Files episodes have been known to start.
Anderson and fellow guest Tyler Perry each got in on the action,
turning cappuccino orders and Nicki Minaj’s album releases into sinister
affairs. Anderson even veered off script.
“I’m pregnant!” she joked.
