Gillian Anderson scored her third Olivier nomination today, for All About Eve (previous two for A Doll's House, and A Streetcar Named Desire).

There are four other nominees in the Best Actress category: Eileen Atkins (The Height Of The Storm), Patsy Ferran (Summer And Smoke), Sophie Okonedo (Antony And Cleopatra) and Katherine Parkinson (Home, I’m Darling).

The Olivier Awards ceremony will take place on April 7 at the Royal Albert Hall and be broadcast via ITV, Magic Radio and Facebook with details to follow.

The GANYC Apple Awards celebrate those who make New York City great. Over a dozen awards are given out each year to individuals and organizations from across five boroughs.

David's book Miss Subways was nominated for The GANYC Apple Awards in the Outstanding Achievement in Fiction NYC Book Writing category.

The ceremony was held on March 4th. Unfortunately, David didn't win the award.

The other two nominees were Susie Orman Schnall (The Subway Girls), and Jennifer Egan (Manhattan Beach) who won the achievement.
