NBC is embracing the method of releasing an entire season of a television show online popularized by Netflix.
David Duchovny's new series Aquarius,
which follows a Los Angeles police sergeant tracking budding cult
leader Charles Manson, will be available on NBC.com in its 13-episode
entirety on May 28th, following its network premiere that same night.
The show will also be available on other video-on-demand platforms,
according to a statement from NBC.
All 13 episodes of Aquarius will be online for four weeks, while new
episodes continue to air in the traditional weekly Thursday night
timeslot on NBC.
