David, Gillian and The X Files nominated for The 2016 Saturn Awards

With awards season upon us, the official film and television nominees for the 42nd annual Saturn Awards have arrived, the awards show dedicated to honoring the best in genre entertainment from horror to action, to science-fiction and more. The nominations for this year honor films and television shows that you might not see other awards shows recognize throughout the year.

Nominations:

Best TV Actress: Gillian Anderson (The X-Files)
Best TV Actor:  David Duchovny (The X-Files)
Best Science Fiction TV Series: The X-Files
Best Supporting TV Actress: Gillian Anderson (Hannibal)

Also, Hannibal is nominated in three other categories. 

The award ceremony will take place in June in Burbank, LA.
